You're paying attention to your body and taking great care of your health. Asking is hard to do so I know its bothering you. As a board cert internist, I've been finding it hard to get the inhalers covered so maybe this is an issue for you as well. When you see your feet are purple press on the top and count how many seconds takes the white area (blancheable ) to turn back to red/purple. If less than 5 sec you're ok. If both feet are not likely a blood clot. For today try to get back on you're inhaler I find the good RX program really helpful and your pharmacist may have even better access to coupons. As always check in with your primary who knows you best.

Rarely we can get esophagitis that makes it difficult to swallow. Finally, I'm sure you already did this but, go to the nearest Pharmacy/Target/Walmart and grab a pregnancy test. Of course if you are dehydrated (the skin on your arm makes a tent when you pinch it) or losing weight dramatically then straight to the ER. Props to you for taking care of yourself so well at 17!!

Thanks for the question. My worry is diverticulitis which is intestine infection or gastritis like a stomach sunburn. we always say go to er if symptoms worsen. I usually start an antibiotic and prilosec. the meds you are on are perfect but sometime the extra steroid in symbicort gets in the system. Make sure to rinse your mouth after.
also sometimes magnesium (like milk of magnesia) can help the inflammation (watch out for diarrhea)
Hope this helps best J

Cardiac Bypass Surgery requires a patient be placed on a machine to pump blood while the heart undergoes surgery. If this is your loved one they are likely at a cardiac center. After surgery they will stay in intensive care for 2-3 days. During this time they are often maintained on sedation. After intensive care they will be in the hospital from 3 to 10 days. The variation in time depends how physically fit they are before surgery.
