Get a second opinion...CT scan is usually more accurate than ultrasound study. The interpreting radiologist needs to review both exams.

Can you see a hiatal hernia on x-ray?

If the hiatus hernia is "large"...yes...but not if it is small...it can be seen better by CT scan or Upper GI series...

Xray can see a tumor in bones...but cannot see soft tissue tumors adequately...CT SCAN & MRI are better to see soft tissue tumors..

Which is better MRI or CT scan for brain?

CT scan is good for skull fractures, acute bleeding, but overall, mri is a better modality to detect tumors, stroke, hemorrhage, multiple sclerosis, infections, etc...

Does fluoroscopy use radiation?

Yes...fluoroscopy has radiation...therefore it should be used sparingly...the shorter time...the better...

Are dental CT scans dangerous?

There is some radiation involved...but overall...it is a safe exam...

The mammogram & Sonogram are not the cause of your symptoms...they have no side effects...probably just coincidental

They are looking for ischemia, early stroke, nonspecific inflammatory disorder, vasculitis, demyelinating disorder, etc...

What images are taken before wisdom tooth removal?

The dentists have their own digital X-ray machine to take X-rays of your teeth.
