We have passed a week where gunfire has claimed more than 30 lives nationwide. This occurred just after Congress mostly based on the Republican house struck down an attempt to reinstall automatic rifle sale limits. My favorite internet station reported oil companies merging with one another and pressing production of gasoline which makes for a 50 to 70% profit compared to the 20 to 26% profit coming back from solar, wind, or other electric sources. The vehicles of the rich and famous will continue to be gas-powered and the poor will continue to use use gas burners or hybrid cars instead of electric cars.

There's nothing evil about trying to maximize profit and secure rainy day security for oneself and one's family. The tactics that helped companies access Federal resources like computers and databases can now be expected via a new intermediate to require paring down of prices for access to products that benefited from Federal aid.
