Do not eat or drink anything 3 hrs before your exam. Drink oral contrast 1.5 hrs before exam; it may taste better cold.

Well, nervousness and anxiety about getting a CT scan for the first time is enough to cause tiredness. It is not a side effect of the contrast given.
