Could a Simple Blood Test Diagnose Skin and Blood Cancers?

Current detection methods are complex

Currently, both cancers don't have a simple and effective detection method. Diagnosis for both types of cancer involves biopsy of actual tissue, which means that the doctor needs to cut out a piece of the patient's flesh and evaluate it under the microscope. Not only is this method of cancer invasive, but it's also extremely time-consuming and expensive. Because of this, many people who may benefit from a biopsy may not actually go through with it, resulting in less screening for these cancers leading to later diagnosis with a worse prognosis.
