Aminoglutethimide is the drug which acts on the adrenal cortex. Production of steroids is affected by its administration. Aminoglutethimide is prescribed to treat certain tumors that affect the adrenal cortex. This drug is also used to prevent over-activity of the adrenal cortex. Moreover, Aminoglutethimide is prescribed by the health professionals to treat some other disorders.

This drug is only available with a doctor’s prescription. Patients of breast cancer, prostate cancer are given such medicine. This drug is available in tablet form in the market. You cannot get this drug without a doctor’s prescription.
