Prezcobix is indicated for the treatment of HIV. Prezcobix is an HIV-1 protease inhibitor, whereas cobicistat is a CYP3A inhibitor. It is important to note that this drug combination does not cure HIV nor does is prevent its spread.
It will, however, stop the virus from reproducing and delay complications caused by the condition. You can only buy this medication with a prescription and it’s sold as a tablet.
