See your Ophthalmologist ASAP!
This is not normal and you should see your eye doctor as soon as possible
This could be a result of a common complication after cataract surgery called Posterior Capsule Opacification (PCO). This is when there is a thickening of the back of the lens capsule which can cause your vision to become cloudy. This complication can develop early on during the cataract surgery recovery or sometimes even several months later.
An in-office procedure using the YAG laser is used to treat PCO. A laser beam is directed at the cloudy capsule and is used to remove the hazy posterior capsule from your line of sight. This procedure is painless and takes only a few minutes. You may resume normal activities right after the procedure.
