Good morning. Pedialax liquid is only approved for ages 2 and up. the best way to treat kiddie constipation is through diet. Try to avoid constipating foods like bananas and rice cereal. You can give other fruits and cereals like oatmeal and barley. And you can give 2-4 ounces of pruned juice as a good natural Laxative. Always make sure the baby is well hydrated with Water as needed.
