Can I get a crown on the badly damaged tooth?

My tooth is badly damaged. Can I get a crown on the badly damaged tooth?

Your idea of badly damaged and my idea of badly damaged may not be the same. Most but not all teeth can be salvaged. Teeth that should not have a crown are those with periodontal disease, broken off below the gum line, split or fractured in half, or need a root canal and the patient is unwilling to have that done. Hope this helps.
If the damaged tooth has enough remaining structure left to support a crown, you can get a crown successfully.
