Can I get over depression without taking medication?

I have depression and want to treat it. Can I get over depression without taking medication?

There are numerous ways of managing depression, one of which might be medication. I have patients that request trying therapy first in order to see if that helps mitigate their symptoms. You can also try other non-Western methods such as Reiki or Yoga, to help manage depression symptoms. However it would be best to talk with a physician in order to determine the best course of action. I hope this helps! Lindsay Nolan
Yes, medication is only a option.                                                                                    Zummuna Davis, Ph.D. Clear Minds Psychology Center 773-610-0069Working together to clear minds!
