Acupuncture can be helpful with the endocrine system. I do not do acupressure.
Yes
Yes acupuncture with herbs and sometimes massage can treat thyroid for good; it might take a month and a half to three months to get rid of this, you should have acupuncture sessions 2/3t per week, you better try!
Acupressure cannot help with thyroid problems, however, acupuncture and herbal medicine can. If it is a life-threatening condition, you should contact your primary physician immediately.

No. You would need other remedies for thyroid issues such as acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutritional support. Generally speaking, acupressure is MUCH less effective than acupuncture since the biochemical reactions occur when the needles penetrate the skin. The needles are tiny and can almost not be felt at all. Americans in general tend to have an irrational fear of acupuncture needles due to the HUGE (100X larger and hollow) needles that are used in Western medicine for blood draws and injections.

Depends on the problem. Usually thyroid problem is an autoimmune disease and acupuncture can help to manage symptoms. You need guidance from a Licensed Acupuncturist.

As an acupuncturist, acupressure is not my forte, but I’ve seen acupuncture greatly help with thyroid issues in my clinic.
When people ask me about acupressure, my first thought is that they are asking me if an inadequately trained person who read a few books about acupuncture points (or they have procured a book and intend to self-treat) is going to be successful. My thought is... I doubt it. I studied this medicine in college for three years, including 700 hours of treating patients under supervision. It was difficult to learn... and complicated. That level of understanding is beyond self-taught from a book, in my opinion. So, not knowing anything about who is treating you (or their level of expertise/understanding of this complex medical system), I am afraid I can not give you much of an answer.

My advice is to find a fully trained acupuncturist who has gone to an acupuncture school and completed a program, or who learned through a long apprenticeship and has decades of experience. Otherwise, you are just having people poke you in areas who are not fully understanding what they are doing. I doubt this would HARM you, but I am super skeptical that it
would be much benefit other than possible temporary symptom relieve... and hormonal imbalances are complicated, systemic issues.
Yes acupuncture can help with thyroid imbalances.
Yes and no depending on the symptoms.
Yes, absolutely. Thyroid issues are something I treat a lot!
Yes. Acupuncture can help treat and regulate the thyroid.
Yes, acupuncture can help with thyroid problems.

Acupuncture may not cure thyroid disease, (although, if you get someone REALLY good they might be able to), but it can help stabilize your thyroid hormones and make your meds work more effectively.
I don't know if acupressure can help with thyroid issues, I don't use much acupressure in my practice. In comparison to acupuncture (using needles), acupressure is a distant 2nd in terms of time to relief from symptoms, duration of relief from symptoms, and overall patient comfort during the treatment.

Can acupuncture help with thyroid issues? Usually, yes. A lot is going to depend on what, exactly, is the issue with the patient's thyroid. There are a range of potential problems, and a variety of different treatment methods which may be intermixed in order to get the best result for the patient.

I'd suggest going to NCCAOM.org, clicking on their 'Find a Practitioner' link and locating a board certified, state licensed acupuncturist near you.
