Can blood be returned to the blood bank?

I am a 40 year old male. I want to know can blood be returned to the blood bank?

Any unit of blood issued is considered transfused and the patient is charged unless is returned to the blood bank. The blood bank will handle appropriate disposal of any returned products which are not usable. There is a time frame to return the blood to the blood bank inventory. Thank you.
Call them to see what is their procedure.
It depends on how long it has been released. If it passes that certain time frame and is not used, it will have to be destroyed since it is no longer good to give patients.

It can not as it cannot be guaranteed to be free from abnormalities.
