I have a gum infection. Can mouthwash heal a gum infection?

No, mouthwash alone can not heal gum infection with long lasting effect. It is at the best a temporary relief. The commercial mouthwashes have harsh chemicals killing good and bad bacteria and causing problems for the epithelialization and the wound healing. You need to see a periodontist.
