Yes they can as with any orthodontic treatment. They will tighten back up unless you have periodontal disease
During Invisalign treatment or any orthodontic treatment, teeth will become slightly mobile. This is a temporary situation. Once the treatment is concluded, the teeth will become firm again and have no mobility. After any orthodontic treatment retainers are necessary to wear to keep the teeth from moving back to the original position.
I think this is part of process treatment that combined with movement of teeth.
