“Chlamydia?”
I have been diagnosed with rectal chlamydia only today, not throat or urethral. I suspect I have had it for years, as I have not had unprotected anal sex with anyone for about 2.5 years. I have had numerous recent sex partners. Would I have infected them? The reason I ask is I have read the risk of chlamydia is low with oral sex and if you don't have urethral chlamydia it's very low.

Yes, you need to inform sex partners. Most people don't have symptoms. Chlamydia can make people infertile or suffer from pain from internal scars. Doxycycline for 2 weeks bare minimum. People might add another drug to really kill it.
