Adolescent Psychiatrist Questions Depression

Depression

I suffer from a period of depression for about a year, and I tried to commit suicide more than once, and failed, and I tried to take an overdose of medication. I went to a doctor and he said you have severe depression, and he wrote me a depression and hypnotic medication. I took it 4 times regularly, and after that I kept taking 2 or 3 doses at a time, even though the doctor had written to me One, and after that, I did not go to the doctor at the time of the session, and my condition began to increase because I did not take the medication, and I kept thinking about suicide much more than the first time, and every time I see anything related to suicide, such as pills or anything that I feel I will take, I am now doing anything because I am afraid to take the medicine so that I do not scratch all at once. One and I don't want to go to another doctor because I don't want to take medicationMy family does not know that I am ill and does not care about such diseases

First of all, I am so sorry that you are feeling so depressed and that you haven't been able to feel better. I have met many patients that did not have a good experience with their first, second or even third doctor but it does sound like you could benefit from seeing someone who can help. I wonder if you could find some support in friends or others around you. There are suicide hotlines as well that might be beneficial to give you some resources. I hope you will consider reaching out to get help because we can and do treat depression pretty well!
You will need professional advice, please go to see a doctor and they can tell you all the options. Or call 911 or emergency department.

Hope that helps
