Discolored urine?

I'm a 81 year old male with dark brown thick urine yesterday, very little output. Last 18 hours drank 2 liter of water, urine is now lighter with stringy blood. Output has increased

Sounds like Prostatitis or a Urinary Tract Infection. You will need antibiotics.

With possible blood in the urine, you should see your family physician who will do a urinalysis to determine if you have an infection or truly blood in the urine. Your PCP may then send you to a urologist to be evaluated if necessary.
