Do forensic pathologists go to crime scenes?

I am a 25 year old female. I want to know do forensic pathologists go to crime scenes?

Yes, occasionally but not all the time. The coroner and the police investigators are mostly at the scene. They take pictures and measurements on how the body landed and all details then the body is removed and taken to the forensic pathologist for the autopsy. Thank you.

In my jurisdiction, forensic pathologists go to crime scenes when the body is still present of an alleged homicide.
