Do orthodontists whiten teeth after braces?

I wear braces and my teeth became yellow. Is it normal? Do orthodontists whiten teeth after braces?

They can but don't do it as a part of the braces treatmant.
If you don't take of the teeth properly, it is possible. 3-4 month regular teeth cleaning is highly recommended for the patient who has braces on. Whitening can be done in any dental offices.

Typically whitening is done at the general dentist's office. I do ZOOM! chairside bleaching. It takes about 1.5 hours to do. Teeth are usually sensitive after but feel normal after about 1-2 hours, but they will be whiter. See my website for some typical results www.dentistriverviewfl.com
Some do and some don't. If they don't, ask your general dentist to recommend a whitening program for you.
Typically your general dentist will handle your teeth whitening concerns.

There are several methods to whiten your teeth after braces. The Orthodontists don't provide any teeth whitening services so we recommend seeing your dentist for a scale and clean, and to discuss risks and costs of your options before proceeding with any whitening treatments
