Does depression cause aggressive behavior?

I have depression and aggressive behavior. Does depression cause aggressive behavior?

Not directly but it can cause extreme feelings of doubt and frustration which could lead to aggressiveness. However, the aggressive behavior may be more correlated to other underlying mental health issues such as bipolar and mood disorders. Wouldn't hurt to talk with a mental health clinician to gain understanding.
