Hard spasm/beat on my chest followed by a skipped beat?

So for the past couple of months, I get this feeling in my chest that feels like one extra hard heartbeat or spasm. It normally occurs high up my chest and is sometimes followed by a smaller hard beat lower in my chest. So high being middle, maybe a little higher on my sternum, the 2nd smaller beat being the bottom of my sternum.

Conditions are normal except my doctor told me my good and bad cholesterol were good but my triglycerides were 123 if I remember correctly. I'm in much better shape than I was and this all started after I lost 30 lbs. The only meds I take are supplements, vitamin D, magnesium. B complex, and potassium.

I'm also permanently aware of my heartbeat as it often moves my whole body. I've also got something that comes and goes where my lower back, butt, and legs feel like they are tingling. I'm not diabetic as I've had bloodwork done.

Lastly, the heart pound used to come and go but now it's every single day.

Sounds like you are experiencing palpitations which can be concerning when felt

From your description I would guess extra beats either from the top or bottom of your heart

I’d recommend seeing a cardiologist for an ekg and Holter monitor do they can further evaluate the cause

I’d also try stopping magnesium and see if your symptoms resolve.
