I have scoliosis and want to treat it. How bad does scoliosis have to be to get a back brace?

Check with a spine specialist.
Patients can live with scoliosis. Resort to a back brace if the scoliosis is causing pain. If the pain does not improve, gets worse and starts compromising nerve function, then surgical consultation is warranted.
