Roll your foot on an ice water bottle back and forth for 10 minutes 2-3 x a day. Also use icy hot on the area as needed for the pain. Try a gastroc stretch found on the internet, multiple times throughout the day. Good luck
The best treatment for plantar fascitis is stretching. Sit down with your legs straight out. Take a towel or a belt around the ball of your foot and pull the towel toward to your body until you feel a good pull. It shouldn't hurt or be uncomfortable. Hold for 10 seconds, then let go. Do that 10 times. Wait a few minutes, then do 10 more. Do that twice a day. Only do 2 sets of 10 twice a day. More is not better. If it doesnt improve in 3-4 weeks, then make an appointment to see your local podiatrist.
The correct term is stretching exercises here.
You can use a tennis ball, a frozen water bottle, stretching devices, or night splints
Sometimes:Try rolling your foot over a tennis ball, and stretch your Achilles and hamstrings. If no help see an orthopedic surgeon.
Massage for plantar fasciitis is designed to reduce scar tissue. I recommend you make an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for evaluation, diagnosis and treatment options
