How do you stop your braces from hurting after tightening?

I am a 15 year old male. I want to know how do you stop your braces from hurting after tightening?

Analgesics. There is some discomfort as teeth move but will subside depending on how much force is being applied to achieve the desired movement.
What seems to help my patients the most is to take advil/motrin or analgesic of choice 30 minutes before appointment; that way it's already working as you're leaving the office. Sometimes keeping a bottle of coldish water to sip helps, but that's only if your ortho uses nitenol (heat activated) wires.
First, keep your gums and mouth in their healthiest condition by brushing and flossing daily. Inflamed gums make everything worse. Second, ibuprofen.
