Typically with pericoronitis, your dentist will numb the area and flush and clean out any debris or irritants that are causing the infection. They may prescribe you antibiotics depending on the severity of any infection. You can use warm salt water rinses at home as well as OTC pain medications such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen. If the cause of the problem was a tooth that needs to be extracted or an overgrowth of tissue, it is best to have that removed so that the pericoronitis does not recur.
Warm salt water rinses. A teaspoon of salt in half a glass of warm water 3-4 times per day. Also, see your dentist and keep the area as clean as possible.

It often requires controlling the infection with antibiotics and cleansing. Definitive treatment will often require extraction of the offending wisdom teeth.
Most of the times it can be treated by excising the extra tissue but needs to be clinically evaluated U should have a clinical examination done by a dentist thanks
Repeated pericoronitis responds to home care, antimicrobial rinses, antibiotics, surgical opening of the flap around the tooth, or in many cases removing the (usually) wisdom tooth responsible.
You need antibiotics. Do salt water rinses to keep area clean . Extract the wisdom tooth causing the problem.
