How do you treat sleepwalking in preteens?

My 12 year old daughter sleepwalks and I worry about her health. How do you treat sleepwalking in preteens?

Usually, this resolves on its own without specific treatment. Safety is the primary concern. There are medications that help but are used only if the benefits outweigh the risk.
Sleepwalking is a normal variant in children. It is a benign condition that generally needs no treatment other than reassurance and providing a safe bedroom environment to prevent accidental falls in a dark room.
Just safety measures around the bedroom. Sometimes medications are necessary.
