Differs for each person. If you did not have extractions, then right away is fine. If you just had extractions, then you would start with soft foods for about a week.
The answer to this question depends upon how well you heal. We generally suggest eating with the dentures right away with a soft diet for about a week. We bring you back to check the healing and then we gradually have the patient progress to a more normal diet as the healing improves. You will never reach the "normal" eating efficiency, that you had with natural teeth, with a denture. The key is to get used the new denture as soon as possible.
You should be able to as soon as you get them, but it will be soft solid foods initially.

How many teeth needed to be extracted? How much jaw bone or "ridge" is supporting the denture? The first few days should be very soft food, no chewing needed. As you get more comfortable, you can progress to soft white fish or pasta.
We usually recommend to wear for about 2 days without eating with the new dentures and if there is no sore spots patients can proceed to soft foods for next 2 days and if there is no issue then they can switch to regular food thanks
Strange question as eating food is one of the main reasons you get dentures! Immediately!
