How long does it take to get partial dentures after teeth are pulled?

I want to get partial dentures. How long does it take to get partial dentures after teeth are pulled?

There is about 5 visits as the case has to go back to the lab at every step and it takes about 6 weeks to finish the partial.
Getting a permanent partial denture after the extractions depends on the number of the extraction and the status of the bone and gum tissue. The bone usually goes under changes within the next 6 months following the extractions. However, you always have the option of getting an immediate partial denture while the bone is healing and until you start the process of the permanent partial denture.

I hope this helps.

2 ways to accomplish this. One is to extract the teeth and allow the bone to heal before making the partial. The other is to make an immediate partial and insert the appliance at the same visit as the extractions (my personal choice). The partial will act as a bandage during healing and can be relined or remade as healing occurs. The second choice means that you are not without teeth while healing. Much more acceptable if front teeth are involved!
You can get a provisional one right after the extraction and then about 6-8 weeks after that a permanent one.
Each case is different. You can start them right away but may need more adjustments after there is complete healing.
Partial dentures can be delivered on the day of extraction. If many teeth are being pulled the dentist may recommend waiting until the bone heals for a more accurate fit.
After teeth are pulled, it takes about two to three months of complete healing before a partial or full denture can be made.
It all depends. Sometimes you can have a partial denture made before you have the teeth pulled. This is so that you get the denture the day you have the teeth pulled and can walk out of the office with teeth.
