How long does it take to recover from a dislocated ankle?

I dislocated my ankle. I want to know how long does it take to recover from a dislocated ankle?

very different from type of injury to person recovery potential, I would seek the consult of orthopedic or podiatrist and ask this specific question.
Did you have surgery to repair and relocate the ankle? Was an MRI performed to evaluate and ligament or tendon damage? There are a great deal of factors that need to be considered when evaluating such an injury. Were there broken bones related to the fracture? If you had a fracture-dislocation of the ankle, and if it had surgical repair, you are looking at a good 2-3 month recovery after surgery. Otherwise, I can not really give you good information without knowing all of the details.
It takes 6 weeks for a bone to heal, but it can take longer for a ligament or tendon. I would allow at least 8-12 weeks including physical therapy.
Generally about 4-6 weeks after it’s been put back / treated.

Depends on the severity of damage. Sometimes those ligaments are permanently stretched. Cartilage damage. If true dislocation, need to be properly evaluated. If just rolled then days to 4 weeks.
Depends on your body’s healing ability, normally 4-6 months.
This will depend if surgery is required or not. I recommend you discuss with your foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for specifics. Likely, this will be in the 6-8 week range
Assuming no surgery necessary, it will probably take 6 months or more to return to sport and most likely with a brace.
