I had jaw surgery 3 days ago. It still hurts bad. How long does jaw surgery pain last?

It is due to pressure in the jaw joint area due to the new position of your jaw. This will usually disappear within 2 to 3 weeks. If the pain medication is not taking the pain away, let your surgeon know and an anti-inflammatory medication may be prescribed.
I’m sorry you are in pain. I don’t have direct experience with Jaw surgery patients but my guess is at least a few more days. Good question for your surgeon.
It is impossible to answer this question as asked. We do not know what type of "jaw surgery" you had. Depending on the surgery you had you may have mild to moderate pain for 3 to 7 days.
