How should I sleep after lumbar surgery?

I am a 43 year old male. I want to know how should I sleep after lumbar surgery?

I normally tell my patients to sleep on their backs with a pillow under their legs. For my side sleepers I recommend sleeping with a pillow between their legs to maintain a neutral position of the spine.
Typically on your back or side. It is also frequently helpful to vary your position.
Position is a personal decision. There is no one position which is better. You should find a position which is comfortable for you.
On your back or side. However, make sure you ask your surgeon, because there may be some detail about the surgery that I am not aware of.
Hope it helps!!

Should be no real restrictions. Your surgeon will let you know.
