Braces will make teeth sore and sensitive. On occasion an anti inflammatory will help. If pain worsens discuss with your general dentist to make sure you don't have a cavity.
I buprophen as a temporary relief but if it continues see you doctor.
Braces are very unlikely to resolve a toothache.
Consult with your board certified orthodontist to see what the recommendations are in your case. In many cases Tylenol (the recommended dose to treat a mild headache) could provide some relief.
Depends on the cause of the pain. Is it the braces? Cavity? Gum disease?
Toothache when using braces is temporal. You will have a little soreness on the first 3 days and then it will go away. To alleviate the toothache take ibuprofen( advil, Motrin) pain medicine as needed.
Hi!
Sorry to hear of your pain. Try to eat soft foods, take OTC pain meds, sleep early and hydrate. The stronger your body and immune system are - the faster you cab adapt.
