How to treat diarrhea with yellow liquid?

I have a yellow liquid that is prominent in my diarrhea, with bubbly mucus and also lower back pain. I had bubbly mucus in the stool and lower back pain about a month ago but not diarrhea. I took antibiotics--thought it was a urinary tract infection. Lab results came back negative for that. I am taking a digestive and urinary tonic every 2 hours -- 2 oz. for 4 times today. Yesterday, I did it for 3 or 4 times. The day before for 2 times. I am somewhat better but what is the yellow liquid and how do I treat this condition? Is the BRAT diet recommended?

A complete work up is needed to determine what might be going on. Yellow stool is not necessarily a sign of pathology, but if there is diarrhea then this can be evaluated with stool tests, blood tests and colonoscopy if necessary. If there is weight loss or anemia then even more reason to do a full work up with a GI doctor.
I don't know what a "digestive tonic" is and there is probably no benefit to it.
