I have dizziness when looking straight up or down?

Right away, what I'm speaking about is not Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), when you point your head straight up or down. My issue is whenever I point my eyes too far upwards or downwards, my eyes hurt badly and I start occasionally seeing 'stars' or 'sparkles' as if I was having a low blood pressure episode / syncopal episode. I've had low blood issues all my life, so it may be related to that. I'm not really worried about a remedy yet - I'm just curious as to what this is called?

Also no, I don't mean actually forcing them upwards to the point of immense pain. I simply mean looking in the general up or down direction a tad bit too hard. Looking up makes me feel lightheaded once my eyes go back down from that position, and looking down makes me feel nauseous once my eyes go back up from that position. It's rather strange - I noticed this about 3 years ago but just thought it was nothing until it gradually got worse over time.

See a Pediatric Ophthalmologist.
I do not have a specific name for your symptoms as described. There may be a problem in your vision pathways and its input to the balance center in your brain, brainstem, and cerebellum. While psychogenic symptoms cannot be ruled out, I think it warrants an evaluation. Talk to your parents and have them take you to a Neurologist for a detailed evaluation.
