Iliofemoral DVT question?

I am a 30 years old female and I was diagnosed with an iliofemoral DVT after my c-section 2 months ago. I was referred to interventional radiology by my doctor because they recommended I get a thrombectomy due to how close the clot is to my inferior vena cava. The radiologist did not recommend a thrombectomy and instead thought we can move forward with medication management of the clot, as he has stated that the clot has shrunk a little bit. I now don't know who to believe and want to get a second opinion because I think a thrombectomy is important, as I grow anxious about the post-thrombotic syndrome. The pain is gone from the clot but I still get mild swelling and leg color changes. What should I do?

Female | 30 years old
Medications: Eliquis, 5 mg

Obtain an unbiased opinion from your clinician who ordered the venous ultrasound. There are many factors related to making the decision related to the age of the clot, your health, reason for clot development etc.
