Is anxiety common with bipolar?

My friend was diagnosed with bipolar. Also gets angry too often. Is anxiety common with bipolar?

Anger can be a symptom of bipolar disorder also, which can mean your friend's bipolar disorder isn't well treated. Anxiety can definitely be seen in bipolar disorder. But anxiety can also be it’s own separate condition as well.
