“Is anxiety common with bipolar?”
My friend was diagnosed with bipolar. Also gets angry too often. Is anxiety common with bipolar?

Thanks for reaching out. The prevalence of any anxiety disorder with bipolar disorder is about 38%. Anger can be a symptom of bipolar disorder also, which can mean your friend's bipolar disorder isn't well treated. They should talk to their provider about their medication and see if there is an adjustment that needs to be made and if anxiety is a separate diagnosis that needs to be treated. Good luck!
Anxiety can definitely be seen in bipolar disorder. But anxiety can also be it’s own separate condition as well.
