“Is chest CT scan harmful?”

A chest CT scan is not harmful. There is of course a certain radiation exposure but 1 study is generally not an issue of concern. Multiple studies could potentially become a problem Related to radiation exposure.

If you háve a chest CT yearly NO! But if you have few done yearly YES!

Not usually, but there are rare exceptions. One would have to have a great number of scans and wait for at least ten years to see any untoward effect.
