A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed to determine the cause of your symptoms.
If you did not see floaters before your laser surgery, you should tell your laser surgeon that you have floaters now. The surgeon can determine if you had floaters prior to laser and can examine your eyes to check on the floaters that you are seeing now.
This is not a typical side effect of LASIK but common after yag capsulotomy.
It can happen, but best to get a dilated retinal exam because of these symptoms.
Typically, floaters are not common after lasers. New floaters can be a sign of diseases of the retina. You should call your ophthalmologist immediately.
