My baby is 2 months old and has been detected with sepsis. What should we do?

My baby is 2 months old. Last week she had a high temperature and we rushed her to the hospital. Upon investigation it was detected that she has sepsis in the blood. She is now critical in the NICU. What will be the course of treatment. Is her condition fatal? Please advise.

Hello, unfortunately sepsis is a serious condition and needs to be treated aggressively in a critical care unit, as you are doing. Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery. It is not easy.
