Period irregularities?

I’ve been taking birth control since late 2020 and decided to stop it in 2022. After stopping it 3 days after mid-month I started bleeding for about 3 days during my estimated ovulation time. Now it’s the week of my period and still nothing. I’ve taken 2 pregnancy tests and both came back negative, safe sex has always been practiced with the use of condoms.

Birth control pills stop ovulation. The bleeding you had was most likely from the withdrawal of the hormones in the pill. Wait for a cycle or two. If you aren’t pregnant, you should get your period.

When you stop taking the pill, especially mid-cycle, it can take some time for your hormones to regulate. It can take up to three months after you stop the pill for your periods to regulate again. I encourage you to continue using condoms as you have had.
