Phenergan is typically safe to take, although it usually is given with codeine to alleviate a cough. Without knowing exactly what medications you are on and all of your health problems, I can't tell you 100% that you won't have a reaction, but it is generally well tolerated.
Phenergan can be used as a sleep aid.
Hello! I don't know why Phenergan was prescribed to you, but it is used for nausea/vomiting, motion sickness and allergic conditions. In Asthma and COPD pt's, it can be used with caution, if it's really necessary. Common side effects can be drowsiness, sedation, dizziness, disorientation. If you still have concerns, talk to your doctor about it. I hope this information was helpful for you.
