Pleomorphic adenoma?

I have a 2 .5cm. deep lobe, parotid gland pleomorphic adenoma. It was an incidental finding on a cervical spine MRI, that I had for cervical spinal stenosis. I am scheduled for traditional Parotidectomy surgery and I am afraid of getting Freys syndrome. Is minimally invasive microscopic surgery safer? DO I need to get reconstructive surgery to prevent a divid?

This Surgery is normally safe. Perform Surgery at high volume hospital.
Minimally invasive surgery is effective. The goal is resection without nerve trauma.
