Should I go to the hospital for a sprained ankle?

I have a sprained ankle and want to treat it. Should I go to the hospital for a sprained ankle?

If there is diffculty walking or doubt of how severe the sprain, then yes, go asap. signs of severe ankle sprain: bruising, redness, pain, swelling, difficulty walking, unable to bear weight or perform activities, condition not getting better.
If you can walk snd bear weight, it is unnecessary to go to the hospital or ER. That being said, if the pain and swelling last gor more than 2-3 weeks, you should have the injury evaluated by a physician
