Should I take my daughter to a doctor for a sore throat?

My daughter has a sore throat. Should I take my daughter to a doctor for a sore throat?

Most sore throats are of viral origin associated with a low grade fever and malaise.These usually last two to three days and resolve with symptomatic treatment. Usually the throat is red and irritated, if there is a whitish patches it would suggest a bacterial infection and a visit to the doctor for antibiotic therapy would be appropriate.
It can be Strep and this needs diagnosed (by a doctor) and treated. I say yes, unless she is feeling well in general, no high grade fever and you're able to take a look at her throat and not see anything funky (like white patches).
Yes because it could be strep which may affect your kidneys and heart if left untreated
