Any time but don't sleep in them.
You do not have to wear contact lenses all the time for myopia or any refractive error. Glasses are available and can be worn to prevent over wear symptoms and if infections occur. Contact lenses usually allow wearers more normal sized visual images than glasses, especially if there is significant myopia or hyperopia. Contact lens wearers tend to be more comfortable in daily wear rather than 2-4 week lenses and have less problems associated with their eyes.
Contact lenses for myopia are usually used for esthetic purposes. It is probably best to limit wearing time and allow the corneas to breathe.
Contact lenses if worn properly can be relatively safe . Never sleep in the contacts. Best lenses are daily wear when you put them in the morning and throw them away at night. Sent from the all new AOL app for iOS
