Tetanus vaccine 2 months in a row

Hi! I had to get a tetanus shot after being bit by a wild animal on July 31st and now, 2 months later, I need to get a Tdap shot to be able to be around my newborn grandson. Could you, please, tell me how safe it is to get the tetanus shot twice within such a short period of time? Thank you!

Tetanus shots given to adults give immunity for a period of 10 years. Who told you that you needed a new booster to be around your grandson? That person should check his/her facts.
