How effective is the Thermage treatment for skin tightening?

I am a 45 year old woman and am suffering from loose and sagging skin. While reading up reviews of various skin treatments, i came across the Thermage treatment for skin tightening which is non invasive and less expensive compared to the other treatments. How does the treatment work and how effective is it in skin tightening that has occurred due to natural ageing?

Fractionated co2 seems to be more effective than Radio-frequency.
Thermage is a procedure that uses radiofrequency to bulk heat the deeper layers of the skin which then helps stimulate new collagen growth and remodeling. Thus causing tightening of the skin. The effects can be seen immediately and can peak in 2-3 mos. It then can last months to several years depending on the laxity of the skin. It can be only 1 procedure or a second may be needed and results also depend on the initial laxity.

In its early use it was unpredictable on results and if you really have significant loose skin I think you will be disappointed
We have electrical and acupuncture treatment etc (non surgical) that are more effective and less damaging.
Thermage is a radio frequency device, there’s multiple companies that have similar device with a different brand name. The one I use is from Acedis. Radio frequency is a nice way to tighten the skin and affordable. Microneedling is another way to tighten the skin. Radio frequency can average $500 for 5 to 6 treatments. Microneedling, office procedure is on average $250 per treatment and home treatment that lasts around 3 months cost $150 to $350 depending on the product you choose.
