“Tongue Bumps”
Recently while sticking my tongue in the mirror, I noticed some bumps in the back of my tongue. I was wondering if I should be worried, I touched them and instantly start to gagging.

Thank you for your question. Although the picture is not clear, the little bumps form when papillae become irritated and slightly swollen. It's not clear why this happens, but it may be related to stress, hormones, or particular foods.
