Will require a review of all your records and in-clinic evaluation to determine what’s going on. Can’t make medical recommendations here. Would be happy to see you in the clinic if desired.
Hi, I am sorry that you are struggling with the treatment of your rheumatoid arthritis. At this time we have many effective treatments which control inflammation and are reasonably safe. These are some of the options you could ask your rheumatologist: TNF inhibitors ( Enbrel, Humira, remixade, simponi, Cinzia), Orencia, antenna, JAK inhibitors ( xeljanz , rinvoq, olymient), rituximab. One medication may not help everyone so depending on how you are doing changing to other therapy could help you find the right medication. Best wishes!
Hello!

Thanks so much for the question ! It sounds like your Rheumatologist is trying everything they can to get your disease under control. Unfortunately, without someone seeing you in person, completing a thorough physical exam, and reviewing your medical history and exact medication history, it’s difficult to recommend the next step. We attempt to control RA symptoms with biologic medications, disease modifying medications like methotrexate, and prednisone when needed. We use pain medications as a last resort.

Thanks so much!

There are several things which are very effective and I strongly doubt you have tried them all if you got no better and had true RA.

Wishing you well,
